Zürich Moon Circle: New Moon in Taurus Ritual

This is Zürich Moon Circle, a fortnightly gathering for women and femmes who want real connection without the performance.

We're meeting on the New Moon in Taurus - the moon basically saying: stop building things you don't actually want. Taurus is Venus-ruled, body-centred, the sign of what you value, what you're building, and whether those two things actually match. This is a New Supermoon sitting between two full moons - the Pink Moon in Scorpio on 1 May and the Blue Moon in Sagittarius on 31 May - which means what gets planted here has two weeks to take root before fire arrives and activates it. New Moons are for planting seeds, and this one is asking: are you building what you actually want, or what you think you should want?

What is Zürich Moon Circle?

A space for women and femmes who want to connect with themselves, with others, and with the cycles that shape our bodies and the world around us. This is for the spiritually curious, the spiritually fatigued, or anyone tired of chasing the next promise of transformation. If you want something grounded, cyclical, and honest, this is for you.

No two circles are the same. Each gathering is guided by the energy in the room, what's true for us in the moment, and the astrology of the lunation. There's no pressure to perform, nothing to make palatable, no need to be anything but yourself.

What happens in the circle?

We open with grounding and a plain-language overview of the New Moon in Taurus and what it's asking of us right now. From there, we move through somatic release work, a guided meditation, creative making with our hands, vocal toning, and a closing dance party. There will also be chocolate, dates and pomegranate, because this is a Taurus circle and we're not pretending that doesn't matter.

Some circles are quiet. Some are cathartic. Some are unexpectedly funny. It depends on who's in the room and what the moon is doing.

This New Moon in Taurus, we'll explore:

• The gap between what you're building and what you actually want
• Pleasure as a compass, not a reward
• What your body already knows that your brain keeps dismissing
• Desire as something to be trusted, not managed
• What you're planting for the next two weeks, and why

What to bring:

• Yourself (as you are, not as you think you should be)
• Comfortable clothes you can move in
• A journal and pen if you like writing things down
• A water bottle
• Something small for the altar if you want (optional)

No astrology experience needed. No movement experience needed. Sharing is always optional.
